This is a simple straight skirt with darts, zipper and a waistband, made up in a gray all-season fabric. Wow, what a wardrobe workhorse! I think it goes with everything in my closet.
The skirt is made from New Look #6007 view D. I did make a few modifications. I made a lining for it, installed a kick pleat instead of a walking vent, and I used a wider waistband.

The fabric is in a medium shade of gray, with great stripe like texture. The fabric feels like a light weight denim, but looks dressier.
This skirt is the first piece of a gray suit that is in the works. The suit will include a vest made from the same pattern as the Rosie Vest, which is the reason for the wider waistband.
